TV personality RR Enriquez has shared her thoughts on Dennis Padilla’s recent emotional outburst about being treated like a mere "visitor" at his daughter Claudia Barretto's wedding. In a candid Instagram post, RR acknowledged that it’s natural for a father like Dennis to feel hurt by the situation, but she did not hold back in explaining the consequences of his actions.

"He needs to understand na, yes indeed, biological father siya but that doesn't mean [na] he can demand his kids to be [a] part of their life whenever he wants, lalo na sa important celebration ng buhay ng anak niya since hindi naman na talaga siya part na ng buhay nila growing up." she explained.
(He needs to understand that, yes, he is indeed the biological father, but that doesn’t mean he can demand to be part of his kids’ lives whenever he wants, especially during important celebrations like his daughter’s wedding, since he hasn't really been part of their lives growing up.)
RR emphasized that Dennis’ strained relationship with his children, especially due to his public rants and absence, has negatively impacted their bond over the years.
"Wala silang solid relationship bilang mag-tatay. Plus yung humiliation na ginawa niya sa kids niya everytime pinu-post niya sa social media," she added in her now-viral post on Instagram.
("They don’t have a solid father-child relationship. Plus, the humiliation he’s caused them every time he posts about them on social media,")
While Dennis recently expressed his disappointment about not being included in the wedding entourage, RR believes he should have focused on the fact that he was still invited to witness Claudia’s special day.
"For him to witness the wedding dapat grateful na siya… Because he knows in his heart na madami siya pagkukulang at nagawang mali sa mga anak niya. How do you want your children to love you or accept you when everytime may hindi ka gusto, sa social media mo pinapadaan?" she remarked.
("For him to witness the wedding, he should have been grateful. Because he knows deep down that he has made mistakes and failed his children. How do you expect your children to love or accept you when every time you’re unhappy, you air it out on social media?")
However, RR also pointed out that the situation could have been handled better with clearer communication. "Maybe it would have been better if he had been told beforehand that he wouldn’t be part of the entourage, so he could decide whether or not to attend," she noted.
Ultimately, RR stressed that the pain Dennis feels now is a result of his own past actions—especially his pattern of airing grievances against his children on social media.
"Masakit talaga yan para sa isang ama pero consequences yan ng mga pinaggagagawa niya. Hindi palaging kayong mga magulang ang iintindihin at uunawain. Lalo kung paulit ulit niyo pinapahiya at sinasaktan sa social media yung anak ninyo," she said in her post.
(“It’s truly painful for a father, but these are the consequences of his actions. Parents can’t always expect to be understood, especially when they repeatedly humiliate and hurt their children on social media,”)
She concluded her message by calling out the emotional harm caused by Dennis’ behavior.
“I think he really crossed the line by humiliating his children on social media. He put them in a position where everyone thinks they’re worthless kids,” she stated.
As previously reported by KAMI, RR Enriquez was vocal in addressing a group of individuals who went viral for overstaying at a coffee shop. In her Instagram post, she reminded her followers that coffee shops are not meant to serve as conference rooms and discussed the potential negative impact such behavior could have on businesses.
In addition, RR shared her thoughts on the recent road rage incident in Antipolo. On April 1, she took to Instagram to comment on the situation, stating, "At first, you feel sorry for the guy because it looks like he was ganged up on." However, she also emphasized that the driver should still be held accountable for his actions.

Dennis Padilla's involvement in his daughter Claudia Barretto's wedding became controversial after he publicly expressed his anger over being treated as a "visitor" rather than the "father of the bride." Despite being invited to the wedding, he was excluded from the program, did not walk Claudia down the aisle, and had no designated seat. Dennis accused his ex-wife, Marjorie Barretto, of orchestrating his exclusion. In response, Marjorie explained that Claudia made the decision to walk alone, and the seating arrangement was adjusted accordingly. Dennis, however, continued to express his frustration, even making several public statements about the situation. Ultimately, Dennis declared that he would no longer try to repair his relationship with his children, citing the ongoing pain and betrayal he felt.
