Lotlot de Leon has engaged a lawyer to safeguard her privacy and uphold the dignity of her late mother, the legendary Nora Aunor, following what her representatives describe as “malicious narratives” harming the family’s reputation.
De Leon shared the official statement from her legal team via Instagram Stories. The statement declared that Estur & Associates Law Firm, headed by Managing Lawyer Atty. Mark Julius C. Estur, will represent Ms. Charlotte Jennifer “Lotlot” Villamayor de Leon-El Soury concerning the recent issues that have cast her in a “false light” through harmful accusations.

“This serves as notification to the public that Estur & Associates Law Firm through its Managing Lawyer, Atty. Mark Julius C. Estur, will be representing Ms. Charlotte Jennifer ‘Lotlot’ Villamayor de Leon-El Soury in all matters related to the recent events which have placed her in false light and malicious narratives,” the statement read.
“In light of this development, Atty. Estur respectfully requests that the public and media respect Ms. de Leon’s right to privacy,” it added.
While acknowledging the public’s ongoing interest in De Leon’s life, the legal team reminded everyone that she is “entitled to personal boundaries.”
“Any concerns or issues regarding Ms. de Leon will be addressed through proper channels and forums, and we will not engage in online debates or respond to personal attacks,” the statement continued.
As the eldest daughter of Nora Aunor, De Leon is positioned to “protect the dignity of her mother and the reputation of their family,” her lawyer explained.
Though specifics about the nature of the attacks were not disclosed, the legal counsel emphasized that cyberbullying, defamation, and privacy invasions will not be tolerated.
“Ms. de Leon vows to protect the dignity of her mother and take the necessary steps to safeguard the rights and interest of herself, her family and her siblings, including taking action against any online harassment, cyber bullying, defamation and all acts which tarnishes and besmirches the reputation of the family,” the statement asserted.
The law firm warned that they are prepared to seek “all available legal remedies” to protect their client’s rights and ensure respect.
“There will always be different narratives and perspectives, but the truth will always prevail,” the statement concluded.
This announcement arrives amid renewed public interest in the personal lives of Lotlot and her siblings Ian, Matet, Kenneth, and Kiko de Leon following the recent passing of their mother.
Coincidentally, Lotlot stirred social media discussions recently after posting cryptic quotes about “truth” and “people who use others.” These posts came shortly after Nora Aunor’s longtime friend, John Rendez, shared feelings of being “unwelcome” at her burial.
