Fans and attendees express disappointment over the recent BINI concert in Dubai, cr!ticizing the production quality and setup. An insider points to organizers as the root cause of the underwhelming experience.
Filipino P-pop girl group BINI recently held a concert in Dubai as part of their world tour, but the event quickly became the subject of criticism from fans and attendees who felt the experience did not meet their expectations.
Many fans, known as Blooms, voiced their dissatisfaction on social media, saying the concert’s production quality didn’t justify the ticket prices they paid after eagerly anticipating the show for months. Even parents expressed disappointment over their children’s experience.
Some went as far as comparing the concert to a “mall show,” pointing out the lack of a “wow factor” in the stage setup and overall production. Here are some of the comments shared by concertgoers:
Ang importanti nag enjoy yung nasa malapit [emoji],” said one netizen.
Bakit bakit walang LED sa sides huhu Pero galing ng girls as in.”
Several fans also lamented the limited number of songs performed, noting there were no solo or duo performances from the eight-member group.
Even talent manager and showbiz insider Ogie Diaz discussed the controversy on his online show “Showbiz Update.” He emphasized that the blame should not fall on BINI but rather on the production team or organizers responsible for the Dubai concert.
As of now, neither BINI nor their management, Star Magic, has issued a statement regarding the concerns raised about the Dubai concert.
BINI is a Filipino all-girl P-pop group formed under Star Magic and managed by ABS-CBN. The eight-member ensemble debuted in 2020 and has since been recognized for their polished performances, catchy songs, and growing international fanbase known as Blooms.
They represent the new wave of Filipino pop music, blending contemporary sounds with high-energy choreography, aiming to establish a strong presence both locally and globally through tours and digital releases.
