Karla Estrada reveals the truth about the relationship with Kathryn Bernado's family after the famous breakup

In an insightful interview with Ogie Diaz, Karla Estrada opened up about her feelings toward Kathryn Bernardo’s family following her son Daniel Padilla’s breakup with Kathryn. Karla shared her deep appreciation for the support she believes Kathryn’s family has provided to her son, Daniel.



Karla emphasized, “I really love them. I'm really thankful for the family nila Kath. I'm really thankful kasi ang laking tulong nila sa anak ko na dalawa kaming naging nanay ni Ate Min. So I'm really thankful,” reflecting on how she holds no ill feelings and appreciates their kindness.

When asked about her perspective on the breakup, Karla recalled how she had prepared her son for the emotional challenges ahead, especially after the breakup was confirmed in November 2023. “Wala siyang sinabi ha, ako lang talaga ang may sinabi. Sabi ko lang, anak paghandaan mo ha, it's going to be a rollercoaster ride after the breakup,” she shared.

Despite the emotional turmoil that followed, Karla assured that there was no lingering resentment on her part, saying, “No bad blood for me.” She also recalled a recent conversation with Kathryn’s family, adding that everything was amicable when they last spoke, with no communication issues or unresolved matters.

Regarding her relationship with Ogie Diaz, Karla clarified that while she might have been irritated or upset at times, she never held any serious grudges. "Hindi. Iba ang galit sa parang nairita o nabuwisit," Karla stated. "Of course, may mga salitang hindi nakakatuwa. Pero mas malawak ang pang-unawa ko. Kasi tinitingnan ko pa rin 'yung kung saan tayo nag-umpisa para maging magkaibigan at ipinagkatiwala ko sa'yo 'yung anak na gawin kang ninong."

Karla's reflections on the breakup between Daniel and Kathryn provide an insight into her motherly role, where she balances being supportive with giving her son space to process his own emotions. While Daniel remains single, Karla has continued to support him through the changes in his personal life.
