The two appeared on the daytime variety show, where Kira and fellow PBB evictee Charlie Fleming participated in the segment "Sang Tanong 'Sang Sabog," where contestants face the risk of getting powder thrown in their faces for wrong answers. Kira ended up getting doused with powder twice during the segment.

However, the drama unfolded after the segment ended when Faith invited Kira and Charlie to promote the PBB Celebrity Collab Edition. When Kira took the mic, Faith quickly signaled for a commercial break, leading to rumors that Faith disrespected Kira.

A video clip from the show was shared online with the caption, “Kira Balinger binastos ni Faith da Silva sa TiktoClock?” This led to a wave of criticism toward Faith, with some calling her "unprofessional" and "disrespectful." However, there were also many people who defended Faith, pointing out that there might have been a misunderstanding.

In a press conference for Star Magic Spotlight, Kira addressed the controversy. “Actually, when I was there, hindi ko naman po feel na may kabastusan na nangyari,” she explained. "And alam ko naman din yung sa mga live show po na ganyan, talagang may oras iyan. So, if they needed to cut the show, wala po talagang problema iyan sa akin.” Kira further shared her experience: “Nasabugan na ako, so alam mo yung I’m still reeling from the moment na, ‘Oh my god, what do I look like? Dyusko, paano ito?’” She also mentioned that she was feeling a bit disoriented after the powder incident, which may have added to the confusion.
