Barbie said David often expresses his love through acts of service and gift-giving.
The beloved love team of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, affectionately known as BarDa, openly shared glimpses of their affection for each other by revealing some of their personal love languages.

During a brand event held in Makati on May 17, the couple was asked to describe the ways they express love to one another.
Barbie playfully began by joking that her love language was Barbie dolls. However, she soon shifted to a more sincere note, revealing that the words of affirmation she receives from David mean a lot to her.
“He loves to check on me. If he sees that I’m feeling down, he’ll say things like, ‘You look beautiful today!’ Something like that,” Barbie shared, which prompted David to tease her about always getting compliments from him.

In addition to verbal affirmations, Barbie said David often expresses his love through acts of service and gift-giving. For instance, he would buy her coffee when she’s tired. She also playfully admitted that what she’s really waiting for is physical touch, which elicited excited reactions from the audience.
On the other hand, David described Barbie as someone who understands him well, noting that her love language could be classified as acts of service. He echoed Barbie’s earlier comment about how they check up on each other regularly.

He also joked that their physical affection comes through in hugs and mutual support. “Words of affirmation, too—you say I’m amazing and cute,” he added with a smile.
Barbie and David first teamed up on the series “Heartful Cafe,” but their love team truly gained momentum with their breakthrough roles in “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”
Since then, BarDa has continued to captivate audiences through various projects, including the remake of the “Maging Sino Ka Man” series, their cinematic debut in “That Kind of Love,” the Netflix film “Pulang Araw,” and numerous brand endorsements.
