During an interview with Ogie Diaz, Ashley revealed that as soon as she was evicted, Carmina, the mother of her boyfriend Mavy Legaspi, immediately reached out to her with words of encouragement and support.

“Tapos 'nung kakalabas ko lang ng bahay ni Kuya, nag-text agad sa'kin si tita Mina which I really appreciate. Kinumusta niya ako agad. Sabi niya, 'Hi Ash, how are you? Welcome to the outside world. I am so proud of you for being a strong woman. I can't wait to see you soon. Take care.'”
