Before her passing, Dominique posted an update on April 6 via her Instagram account about her ongoing health struggle. In that post, she openly admitted that it would be her last update until she passed away.
She wrote, “I want to be direct with you all: this will be my final update on my cancer journey until I have passed away.”
Dominique shared that just five days earlier, she had been given a prognosis of only a few days to a few weeks to live. Her liver was rapidly failing, causing jaundice, and the cancer had progressed significantly. She stated, “My liver is failing rapidly to the point of jaundice and the cancer is progressing quickly.”
Due to the swift progression of her illness, Dominique revealed she could no longer receive treatment or chemotherapy. “At this point, I’ve transitioned into end-of-life care, focusing on pain relief and managing side effects, with so much time spent in both the hospital and hospice facilities,” she explained.
Dominique’s passing has deeply saddened many of her followers, who had been following her journey online. Her last TikTok video, posted on April 11, was an apology for the lack of updates regarding her condition, where she expressed her gratitude to her supporters.
