Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara has faced constant bashing online, but she continues to maintain a positive outlook through each challenge in her life. Despite the hate and negativity that she faces from online critics, Kyline has chosen to focus on the things that matter most to her, such as her peace of mind and staying true to herself.
In the April 2025 issue of Cosmopolitan Philippines, titled "It’s Hot Girl Summer For Kyline Alcantara, But She’s Keeping Her Cool," the actress opened up about the emotional battles she has fought, including dealing with public opinions that interfere with her personal life.
Kyline admitted that facing these ongoing challenges is not easy, especially with the constant judgment and personal attacks. "I just protect my peace. There are days when you cannot just silence the noise, it’s drowning. But, you cannot just sink, you need to focus again and float above the surface by listening to the voices that matter to you," she shared.
Addressing the Baseless Criticism
Kyline expressed frustration over the baseless bashing she has received, particularly for things she hasn’t even done or said. "I’ve been bashed for the things that I did not say or do, or because I decided to upgrade myself, or just because I tried too hard. But, I was judged already before I even opened my mouth," she explained. "So I’d rather have my small circle know my truth than be open in public and still be judged and bashed for it."
Standing Firm in Her Truth
Despite the public scrutiny, Kyline remains confident in her truth. "Kahit anong sabihin n’yo sa akin, it’s okay as long as my intentions are clear. I know my truth," she said. "And I know that my truth is the truth. You may have your own side of the story, but my truth is the truth."
Kyline firmly believes she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, especially in the public eye. "I really don’t have to explain myself. You can say whatever you want about me as long as alam ni God, alam ng Panginoong Diyos kung ano talaga nasa puso ko," she continued. "Kung ano talaga ‘yung nangyari. I am comfortable with that. I can sleep peacefully at night with that. I can live with that."

As Kyline focuses on her personal growth, her career continues to soar. She is set to star in GMA 7's upcoming drama series Beauty Empire, where she will be joined by popular actresses like Barbie Forteza, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Gloria Diaz.
