Jackie Forster, the former actress and mother of Kobe Paras, recently expressed regret over her decision to defend Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara during the tumultuous breakup between Kyline and her son. Initially, Jackie felt compelled to speak out and support Kyline against the negative comments, but now, she acknowledges that she should have listened to the warnings she received from others who spotted "red flags" in Kyline’s behavior.

Jackie shared that she initially wanted to remain silent on the breakup, but felt the need to step in and defend Kobe against the bashers and accusations. She emphasized that Kobe was not a cheater, and that he did not engage with other women during their relationship, contrary to what some of Kyline's supporters claimed.

“Kami ang pamilya ni Kobe, pero out of respect, we still tried to be there for her, to help console her, to listen, and to be understanding,” Jackie said, explaining that despite the breakup, their family continued to reach out to Kyline in an effort to offer emotional support.

Jackie went on to express her confusion about why Kyline and her supporters allowed Kobe to be portrayed as the cheater in the situation, while Kyline remained silent to protect her own peace. She added, “But I think that’s better than loving someone while pretending to be somebody that they’re not.”

Reflecting on the situation, Jackie admitted, “I defended you, Kyline. I regret not listening to those warnings.”

In response to Jackie’s revelations, a person identified as Zamantha Rose, who is believed to be in a relationship with Kyline's brother, Robin Alcantara, took to Instagram to defend the actress. Without directly naming Jackie, Zamantha shared a screenshot of Jackie’s YouTube video, reposting it on her Instagram Stories.

“Kyline is not, and has never been, manipulative or abusive. She has been nothing but supportive toward Kobe,” Zamantha wrote, adding that it was deeply wrong to damage Kyline’s reputation with false claims, especially since she hadn’t done anything to deserve it. She also mentioned that if the intent had been to resolve the matter peacefully, it should have been handled privately rather than through public attacks disguised as concern.

“I sincerely hope moving forward, you can choose integrity, fairness, and genuine respect over distortion and harm," Zamantha concluded. “Lastly, Kyline deserves to be defended with the same grace and dignity she has always shown.”
