During the Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) Season 7 episode on April 13, 2025, a contestant named Raymart Pandalan caught the attention of Freddie (FMG) Garcia, who noted that he resembled none other than Kathryn Bernardo's ex-boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
Kathryn and FMG are part of the judging panel on the show.
As soon as Pandalan faced the judges, Kathryn immediately remarked, "Para kang si Ronnie no, Ronnie Alonte," referring to fellow Kapamilya star Ronnie Alonte.
Pandalan playfully acted as though he would walk out in embarrassment, but it was clear that he was happy to be compared to an actor like Ronnie.
While Kathryn saw a resemblance to Ronnie, FMG saw something else entirely.
Before Pandalan began his act, FMG asked, "May isang tanong lang ako. Kamag-anak mo ba si Daniel Padilla?" (I just have one question. Are you related to Daniel Padilla?)
Kathryn’s reaction was caught on camera when Daniel’s name was mentioned. The studio audience erupted in loud cheers and excitement, adding to the moment's intensity.

Netizens spot Kathryn Bernardo’s (right) expression as FMG (left) mentions Daniel Padilla.

Kathryn and Daniel’s Controversial Breakup
Kathryn and Daniel officially confirmed the end of their eleven-year relationship on November 30, 2023, through separate statements. The breakup was largely attributed to Daniel’s alleged secret involvement with actress Andrea Brillantes, which led to speculation about infidelity. However, neither Kathryn nor Daniel revealed the full details behind their split at the time.
Despite the challenging breakup, Kathryn has openly shared that she does not regret her years with Daniel. In an interview with Boy Abunda on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, Kathryn said, "You know, nothing. I don’t regret anything... it was eleven beautiful years... So, kung nandiyan si little Kath, sasabihin ko, 'You know, ayaw kitang pangunahan. I want you to experience all these emotions, all these things, kasi it’s gonna be a big part of your growth.’”
Kathryn also emphasized that she wanted to embrace all the experiences, both good and bad, as they played a big role in her personal growth.
As of now, Kathryn has been linked to several individuals, but according to her mother, Min Bernardo, Kathryn remains single despite receiving attention from suitors.
