A manager rushed forward, voice nervous. “Ma’am… I—didn’t realize…” She simply smiled. “No explanation needed.” She walked past without hesitation, her steps measured. Staff stepped aside instinctively, not out of fear, but recognition. Because true authority doesn’t announce itself. It’s recognized by the system—and by everyone in the room.
