In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Jessy shared words of encouragement and faith for Luis, reflecting her belief in divine timing and support. “One of the greatest gifts is knowing that God’s plans are always more beautiful than your disappointments. HE will sustain you during your hardest battles and save you from harm’s way because only HE knows what is meant for you,” Jessy wrote in the caption accompanying her Instagram carousel post.
The post featured a peaceful video of a serene view and an inspirational graphic with a faith-based message: “When the weight of uncertainty lies heavily on my shoulders, I glance at the stars and envision far beyond what I see – the complexity and enormity of the universe. How humbling it is to know that compared to it all, I am nothing but a speck of dust in this vast universe the Lord has created. And, though my troubles may feel as enormous as the universe itself, I remember God is much bigger than all of it; in His presence, I rest.”

Luis reposted the story on his own Instagram account, replying, “Love you” with three kissy face emojis.
As of May 13, 12:46 p.m., the unofficial results for the 2025 election show Luis in second place for the vice governor position, with 552,044 votes. The Batangas Provincial Board of Canvassers has officially proclaimed incumbent Dodo Mandanas as the Vice Governor with 804,225 votes, according to the partial results.
Meanwhile, Luis’s mother, Vilma Santos-Recto, is leading the vote count for Batangas Governor with 640,073 votes, further reflecting the family’s significant presence in the region’s political landscape.
