David Licauco, known for his roles in GMA Network's hit series, recently opened up about his unexpected journey with the renowned reality show, 'Pinoy Big Brother' (PBB). In a heartfelt Instagram post, he revealed that he had auditioned for the show back in 2014, expressing his long-standing desire to be part of the PBB experience. "Wow. Crazy to think I once lined up for PBB auditions in 2014... and years later, I got to be a houseguest," Licauco shared.

His dream came closer to reality when he was considered to be an official housemate earlier this year. Although he didn't make it as a housemate, Licauco was invited to join the 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' as a houseguest. He entered the house on Day 57 and spent five days interacting with the current housemates.
Reflecting on his brief but impactful stay, Licauco expressed gratitude for the opportunity. "I'm really grateful for this experience. Thankful to GMA for allowing me to experience 'Pinoy Big Brother' kasi pangarap ko rin 'yun dati noong bata ako," he said. He described the experience as emotionally enriching, stating that many moments inside the house were not visible to the audience.
During his time in the house, Licauco formed meaningful connections with the housemates, who welcomed him warmly and guided him through the experience. He appreciated the camaraderie and teamwork, especially during tasks that required collective effort. One such task involved making a fellow housemate, River Joseph, angry, which presented a moral challenge for the group. Despite the difficulty, Licauco was proud of how the task was handled and the lessons learned from it.
