According to circulating stories, Daniel Padilla and Kyle Echarri were allegedly involved in the disturbance.
Based on the account of an eyewitness, the problem reportedly started when Daniel noticed that his ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo, seemed uncomfortable with how "touchy" Kyle was being with her.
Kyle was one of the people accompanying Kathryn at the ABS-CBN Ball after-party, which had the theme "Brighter Together."
It was confirmed that Kathryn and Kyle were together at the after-party through a video uploaded on social media, where Kathryn is seen placing her hand on Kyle’s as they walked together.
This gesture may have been Kyle supporting Kathryn, as she was likely struggling with the height of her heels.
